- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆February 18, 2019, by A Google UserThis feeder claims to be wasp proof! It's actually so poorly designed that it is actually an efficient stinging insect feeder. At this time of year (October), when you want to support migrating hummingbirds, this feeder has enough yellow jackets covering it to scare any hummers away forever. I filled mine with a cup of nectar yesterday and the hornets have drained it completely. This outfit should be sued for false advertising. Get any other feeder but this one. It's way over-priced anyway.
